The Optical Finger Navigation series are built to provide full flexibility on space-constrained smart controller interfaces.
 
When moving finger across the navigation pad, the activated IR source will read the microscopic patterns on the finger surface, and reflects the patterns to the in-built optical CMOS Sensor. Further finger movements identified on the navigation pad are converted to dual-axis data by algorithms, with the amount of movement interpreted as number of counts.
