Senior Product Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities
● Responsible for performing engineering characterization in product development activities. This involves conducting various electrical analyses, such as voltage, temperature, process, and material assessments, among others
● Responsible for reviewing product performance distribution (results from the characterization above) against limits to ensure the product meets the target specifications
● Define product limits in the datasheet
● Work closely with the IC design team to develop new product test plans and establish test limits
● Lead product failure investigations and drive improvements
● Lead and collaborate closely with the Manufacturing team to improve yield
● Provide recommendations, solutions, and suggestions to customers to support product design-in activities and address inquiries (assisting with customer needs and applications)
● Work closely with Sales/Marketing to explore new and potential product applications
Experience
Minimum of 5-7 years relevant experience in Product engineering.
Education
Bachelor's Degree or Higher
Field of Study
Major in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or Equivalent
Job Requirements
● Willing to work hands-on for product characterization.
● Knowledgeable in statistical analysis tools such as Minitab & Excel charts
● Knowledgeable in CMOS, mixed signal circuits and encoders will be added advantage.
● Good presentation skills & report writing.

Penang, Malaysia
Working Hours
Hybrid, 5 Days a Week
