PixArt's Gesture Recognition series are tailored for a variety of applications that include automotive, commercial, IoT and gaming. Through the availability of AEC-Q100-compliant models and the capability to support single-object/multi-object detection, PixArt continues to offer accurate, precise and reliable Gesture products to the tech-savvy public.
Single-Object Gesture Recognition
Each of PixArt’s Single-Object Gesture Recognition product comes in a highly integrated cubic module that contains a gesture sensor, a LED light source, a lens and the in-built algorithms. The Single-Object module can recognize when a gesture begins, track its movement, insert interruption signals in between gestures, and continuously wrap up every completed gestures that are to be analyzed by the advanced algorithms.
The Single-Object Gesture Recognition module has a maximum operating distance of 30cm, and supports the detection and reading of either sophisticated hand gestures (gesture-mode) or single finger movement (cursor-mode), creating flexibility for our customers in their further development.
Multi-Object Gesture Recognition
PixArt’s Multi-Object Gesture Recognition set which combines a multi-object sensor and a standalone ISP SoC with full algorithmic support, delivers a total solution for painless end-product development. This powerful and AEC-Q100-compliant (automotive grade) SoC solution contains built-in algorithm and processor, allowing it to recognize a large amount of pre-defined hand movements, detect sophisticated multi-finger gestures, and output real-time detection data in regard to the objects’ position, size and brightness.
