PixArt's Health Management product line, which utilizes the PPG (Photoplethysmography) technology, is a cluster of highly integrated modules designed for non-invasive health management applications. Unlike a conventional photodiode detector that only outputs basic PPG readings such as heart rate detection and heart rate variability (HRV), an image-based PPG product can further interpret the PPG signals to attain even more personalized health information.
PixArt's PPG sensor products offer robust platforms that help to realize a wide range of physiological detection functions on wearable, hearable and portable devices. With the appropriate system development, they can make health/fitness-related applications possible by delivering informative data such as the heart rate detection values (incl. stationery-, sport- or Wear OS-compliant grades), stress-level tracking (via HRV SDNN value), respiratory monitoring, cardiopulmonary quality tracking, sleep-related breathing assessment, and irregular heartbeat screening.
With our extensive knowledge and experience in supporting customers' development cycles, a wide range of operating scenarios in real-life situations have been carefully considered throughout sensor design. This is why our PPG sensors are built with efficient processing ability right from the hardware level.
